On Stage by Exploited is a live album that captures the raw energy and intensity of the Scottish punk band's live performances. Recorded during their 1981 tour, the album features 14 tracks that showcase their signature sound, combining aggressive guitar riffs, pounding drums, and politically charged lyrics.
The album opens with "Dogs of War," a blistering track that sets the tone for the rest of the record. Other standout tracks include "Dead Cities," "Attack," and "Alternative," which feature catchy hooks and sing-along choruses that are sure to get audiences pumped up.
Throughout the album, lead singer Wattie Buchan's vocals are raw and unapologetic, delivering each line with a fierce intensity. The band's musicianship is also on full display, with guitarist Big John Duncan shredding his way through each song and the rhythm section of Gary McCormack and Willie Buchan holding down the fort.

The Exploited Onstage (Edinburgh '81) was one of the first punk records I bought back in the 80's. It is one of the best recorded live sets ever! This is Exploited, with Wattie, Big John, Gary, and Dru, in their prime! Big John's guitar work is f@cking tits!
The only other recording to match this would be "Troops of Tomorrow".

this was recorded and released without the band knowing... total bootleg but captures the band at a great period. I seem to remember buying this in 1981 though. it was released on the same label as the 1st two ep's... could this have been released before their first album?

I bought this LP back in '82; it had see-through vinyl i remember. Sound quality was pretty bad but the tracks were played much louder and faster than on Punks not dead so i liked it a lot.
