Review by Mike Raiche

Dyke & The Blazers' album "Let A Woman Be A Woman Let A Man Be A Man" is a timeless classic that still resonates with listeners today. The album, released in 1969, is a perfect blend of soul, funk, and R&B. The band's lead vocalist, Arlester "Dyke" Christian, delivers powerful and soulful performances throughout the album, accompanied by the tight and groovy instrumentals of The Blazers.

The album's title track, "Let A Woman Be A Woman Let A Man Be A Man," is a funky anthem that celebrates individuality and self-expression. The song's catchy chorus and infectious groove make it an instant classic. Other standout tracks on the album include "Sho' Nuff," "Funky Broadway Time," and "Uhh." Each song showcases Dyke & The Blazers' incredible musicianship and dynamic energy.
